Throughout the early 90s, Bellingham’s The Kent 3 indulged the Pacific Northwest with their rowdy brand of punk. Their first spring as a band lasted from 1993 to 1994, initially dissolving after bassist Adam Grendon became afflicted with health issues and Tyler Long moved to Montana. But two years later, Grendon’s health took a turn for the better and Long returned from Montana to reconvene the group for an even more raucous second act. After releasing two albums on Seattle label Super Electro Sound Recordings, The Kent 3 was tapped by Sub Pop to record a 7-inch for their Singles Club.

Wake the Sleeper is the 21st studio album by the rock band Uriah Heep, released on 2 June 2008 in Europe and on 26 August 2008 in the United States. The announced September 2007 release was rescheduled (initially to March 2008) as a result of the purchase of Sanctuary Records by Universal Music.

The Kent 3 were a Punk/Wave/Garage band originally from Bellingham Wa until they relocated to Seattle in the early 1990s & released records on Bag Of Hammers, Empty, & Super Electro, a label run by Steve Turner of Mudhoney. Their last release - Spells - came out in 2001 on Dirtnap. While offically broken up they do play the occasional reunion show.

Mainly, they released their first album, Screaming Youth Fantastic (Bag Of Hammers, 1994), the manifesto of their Mudhoney-influenced garage-rock sound. Estrogen Cruiser and The Sleeper remain two of their classics. The Kent 3 reformed in March of 1996 but ejected Pitts and replaced him with Halogen.
