Fandangos In Space is a music studio album recording by CARMEN (Prog Folk/Progressive Rock) released in 1973 on cd, lp, vinyl and/or cassette. Fandangos In Space is the Carmen album I'm most familiar with, but I prefer the follow up Dancing On A Cold Wind. Never heard the third album. Not the proggiest album of the time but an original idea mixing rock and flamenco.

Fandangos in Space is the 1973 debut album by flamenco-rock band Carmen. Rock critic Ryan Reed has described their music as flamenco prog rock, "In a glammy yelp, the frontman sang tales of bullfights and gypsies, as the music blended Mellotron, rock rhythms, and zapateado footwork into a cosmic headfuck (produced by David Bowie collaborator Tony Visconti). Dancing on a Cold Wind is a 1974 album by flamenco-rock band Carmen. It was later released on a double CD set with the band's previous album, Fandangos in Space. The cover is a mock-up of the logo for Gitanes brand cigarette designed by Ken Hilton of the House of Wizzard design studio. All tracks written by David Allen, Angela Allen, Roberto Amaral, John Glascock, Paul Fenton, except when noted. David Allen - vocals, electric guitar, flamenco guitar.
