However they also have a habit of being 50% Greg Kurstin (ie the man who produced Lily Allen and Kylie and Little Boots and 'etc') so once in a while they turn in incredible pieces of popular song like 'Love Letter To Japan'. The Bird and the Bee (stylized as the bird and the bee) is an American indie pop musical duo from Los Angeles, consisting of Inara George ("the bird") and Greg Kurstin ("the bee"). Kurstin-a seven time Grammy Award winning producer and t who has worked with artists including Sia, Adele, Beck, Kendrick Lamar, and the Foo Fighters. George and Kurstin met while the two were working on her debut album and they decided to collaborate on a jazz-influenced electropop project.

Really excited about new bird n the bee album. Think it’s my fav! 9 songs pretty much finished so far. {SOURCE}. The album didn’t really have any official singles and only managed to peak at on the Billboard 200 chart, still besting their previous release, Ray Guns Are Not Just The Future, which peaked at I’ve been a fan of The Bird and The Bee since their Billboard Dance Club Play single, Fucking Boyfriend, and seeing them open up for Lily Allen only solidified my love for Kurstin and Inara George.
