The Cosmic Jokers - Galactic Supermarket flac album

The Cosmic Jokers were a German krautrock supergroup, and a primary example of space rock. The Cosmic Jokers was never an ensemble, per se; its members did not play together as Cosmic Jokers, and in fact were not even asked to join the group. Their music was created from sessions put together by Rolf-Ulrich Kaiser and Gille Lettman in early 1973.

Galactic Supermarket" was the second of a series of COSMIC JOKERS releases. Here, you get some of the big names of the Krautrock scene (at least the Ohr/Pilz/Kosmische Musik labels), that is Manuel G�ttsching, Klaus SCHULZE, Harald Gro�kopf, Dieter Dierks, J�rgen Dollase, Rosi M�ller, and Gille Lettman, jamming away, creating some of the most freaked out music ever. Galactic Supermarket was the second album released from these 1973 sessions. It features the same line-up joined by two women - high on LSD - that provide the occasional echoed scream. Kaiser had already used up the best stuff on the first release, but there are still gems her, especially in the first half.

The second Cosmic Jokers album, though originally not released under their name, offers another pair of sidelong roller-coaster rides into the cosmic void from the same musicians as the first album, with added vocals from guitarist Göttsching's girlfriend, Rosi Muller, and producer Kaiser's girlfriend Gille Lettmann.
