Uncle Sam's Curse is the third studio album by American hip hop group Above the Law. It was released on July 12, 1994 and served as the last group's record on Ruthless Records before they were dropped from the label after the death of its founder Eazy-E. Uncle Sam's Curse sold over 250,000 copies.

But as for Black Mafia Life, Cold 187 um definitely gave up the funk with those P-Funk samples. Lyrically, the album is dope with killa flows from 187 and KMG. ". Above The Law has been one of many victims that have been slept on by the masses. Majority of their albums that were released were due to bad timing, because many albums that came out that were more popular which overshadowed everything this group has done. Such as this album Black Mafia Life, which has came out a little after The Chronic, which we already have known what the impact was.

Above the Law's second album had three things working against it. One: over two years had passed since their debut (unless you factor 1991's Vocally Pimpin' EP), which certainly left many with the impression that they were no longer. Two: they had to follow up a strong Dr. Dre-produced debut with in-house production. Three: it was nearly half an hour longer than the debut, leaving it wide open for filler issues. Despite these factors, the members of Above the Law proved with Black Mafia Life that they were more than a one-album wonder
