Back in 1988 Doucet’s Cajun Brew uncovered what had been hiding in plain sight for decades and recorded it for posterity. Doucet is a musician, a musicologist, and a grand historian. This recording is a gem on so many levels. This album is a bit of a departure from totally traditional Cajun music, but is great fun and shows the range of Michael and all the artists. I own all of the Beausoleil albums and this is one for happy times. One person found this helpful.
