Future Days is the fifth studio album by the German experimental rock group Can, originally released in 1973. It is the last Can album to feature Japanese vocalist Damo Suzuki. On Future Days, the band foregrounds the ambient elements they had begun exploring on previous efforts, dispensing largely with traditional rock song structures and instead "creating hazy, expansive soundscapes dominated by percolating rhythms and evocative layers of keys

Talk about Can - Future Days

spacebreeze
I got this spoon reissue and the Bel Air side is super noisy. My favorite can track too. First side is clean. Be cautious about this pressing. I’m pretty sure the noise is in different spots for each person so it’s most likely shit quality control at the pressing plant. Be warned.

I purchased this album yesterday and have listened to it a couple of times after giving it a thorough cleaning. I don't have any issues with it at all. Since it is apparently pressed using the original master tapes any anomalies were probably there from the beginning. I am very happy with the album.

I had quite a noisy pressing, too. Today I did the wood glue trick and probably 75% of the noise is gone. I’m going to glue it once more and I’m sure it’ll sound even cleaner.
Questanthr
I ordered this twice and both time there was filth on the outer 1/3 of the track, both sides, that made crackles in one channel. I could not be washed off. If I could find a copy without the filth, I would gladly add it to my collection.
PC-rider
Exact same issue here. I'm on my 4th copy, each with the same issue that you described.
Sharpbrew
Pops and crackles all over the place on mine sadly. Even after a clean. Great record though. Dubious QC at the plant however.
Rit
Mine came with plenty of surface scuffs (inaudible) and crackling in one channel. Not many pops. A pretty great listen, despite issues. I will not hold out for a better copy from this run.
Hiylchis
Same here.....pops and cracks. Still sounds good though I think.
Xig
My ultimate rainy day album, and perhaps my favorite Can.

:-) Faust has a pretty good one too, sunshine girl.
