One is the second solo album by jazz keyboardist Bob James. It was an important album in the early smooth jazz genre and is famous for its end track, "Nautilus", which became important to hip hop as one of the most sampled tracks in American music. Bob James,being a jazz funk keyboardist with a strong love of film and movie music developed a sound all his own during the 1970's. And nothing on 'Lucky Seven' certainly does-"Rush Hour","Look Alike" (with it's bumpilicious bassline) and "Big Stone City" all marry stripped back uptempo.
