In August of 1982, tenor saxophonist Eddie Harris, bassist Larry Gales, pianist Bill Henderson, and drummer Carl Burnette recorded a number of tunes in a Hollywood recording studio. The album showcases Harris' versatility, improvisational skill, and mastery of tone. The first track, "Listen Here," is a Harris original and probably his biggest hit. It has a funky straight eighth note feel that is enthusiastically propelled by a melodic bassline, comping piano chords, and syncopating drum groove
