Emissaries is Melechesh's fourth full-length album and third through Osmose Productions. The album introduces their new drummer Xul (who has been performing with them since 2004). The Album contains an instrumental Bonus Track - Extemporized Ophtalmic Release - it is not titled on the track listing but is number 11 on the CD, the given name of this track basically refers to it being an unplanned improvised jam.

After all, it’s just a title, right" But while the definition of emissaries is soft, sneaky, and/or secretive, this is a fast, firey, in-your-face type of album. so overall, a nice, impressive album for the Mesotopian Metal band Melechesh, leaves you wondering what will happen next, but in the meantime, you keep coming back and back for another listen. Riffs and solos are inspired and creative + Superb drumming + Production is flawless, couldn’t be better.
