Three albums in and the work of Toronto-based producer David Psutka continues to defy genres, considering how his Egyptrixx kicked off as a ghetto-tech project where the guest appearance of DJ Sluggo - the legendary Dance Mania producer - made a perfectly logical guest shot.

Egyptrixx (born David Psutka) is a Canadian electronic musician from Toronto. Psutka also releases music under the names "ACT!" and " Ceramic TL", is a member of experimental folk project Anamai, and works as a studio producer. Egyptrixx's debut full-length album, Bible Eyes, was released in March 2011. Psutka stated in an interview that Bible Eyes was created as a tribute to his great-grandmother.

Still, Egyptrixx is arguably the most distinctive of the lot, releasing music that's more psychedelic than it is dancey, especially his 2011 album Bible Eyes.

Toronto’s Egyptrixx ( David Psutka ) returns to Night Slugs with his immersive second album A/B til Infinity Since his 2011 debut LP Bible Eyes, Psutka has been busy with various studio production projects as well as recording and touring with his side-project Hiawatha. His return as Egyptrixx takes the form of a multi-media collaboration with Berlin-based visual artist A N F – Andreas Nicolas Fischer.
