Aftermath ‎(CD, Album, Unofficial). Less is more with the american version of 'Aftermath'. The english release features four other songs: 'Take It or Leave It', 'Out of Time', 'Mother's Little Helper' and 'What to Do'. 'Out of Time' is interesting. A nice pop melody combined with another Jagger put-down: 'You're obsolete, my baby, my poor discarded baby'. Mothers Little Helper' wouldn't appear on an album until "Flowers" for american fans. We get 'Paint It Black' instead

Goin' Home" is a song by rock band The Rolling Stones featured on their 1966 album Aftermath. Written by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, "Goin' Home" is a long blues-inspired track that is notable as one of the first songs by a rock and roll band to break the ten-minute mark and the longest recorded song on any Stones album

The Rolling Stones finally delivered a set of all-original material with this LP, which also did much to define the group as the bad boys of rock & roll with their sneering attitude toward the world in general and the female sex in particular.

Aftermath, released in the UK on April 15, 1966 by Decca Records, is the fourth British studio album by the Rolling Stones. It was released in the United States in June 1966 by London Records as their sixth American album. It remained as the number one album for eight weeks following its release. The album is considered an artistic breakthrough for the band, as it is the first Stones album to consist entirely of Mick Jagger/Keith Richards compositions. Aftermath is one of the final albums to benefit from the unique instrumental forays provided by Brian Jones.

According to Bill Wyman in Rolling With The Stones, the album was originally conceived as the soundtrack for the never filmed feature Back, Behind And In Front The whole deal fell off, though, when Jagger met with the potential director, Nicholas Ray, but didn't like him These recording sessions were also very busy for the group, as they recorded 21 Jagger–Richards.

On this day in 1994, The Jesus And Mary Chain released its fifth album, ‘Stoned & Dethroned,’ featuring the singles Sometimes Always and Come On.

Exclusively for Prime members. It was a landmark album for the band as it was the first Rolling Stones album to consist of all original Jagger/Richards material. The days of doing cover versions of other artist's songs were slowing down as the band was beginning to develop their own style and sound. With original hits over the previous 15 months, such as "Heart Of Stone," "The Last Time," "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction," and "Get Off Of My Cloud," Mick Jagger and Keith Richards were developing into a very strong songwriting team.
