Walk This Way: The Autobiography of Aerosmith (. ISBN 0-387594-7) is a book written by Stephen Davis, published by HarperCollins and released in October 1997. The book was co-written with the members of Aerosmith themselves. This biography contains the story of the band's life, legends, women, drugs and partying that nearly killed the Toxic Twins and split the band. The book ends with the release of the Nine Lives album.
Walk This Way" is the title of Aerosmith's 1999 autobiography. In the book, Steven Tyler deconstructs the lyrics to this song. Aerosmith wasn't well known when this came out, and the song didn't chart when it was first released in September 1975. A year later, after their album Rocks took off, the single was reissued and became a hit. They re-released "Dream On" the next year. Joe Perry came up with the guitar riff for this song and the band developed the track, but four days later (an eternity in their recording schedule at the time) Steven Tyler still didn't have any words for the song.

Walk This Way is one of Aerosmith’s greatest hits, the song that is known to people before even hearing of the band. It was released in 1975 as the second single on album Toys in the Attic, climbing to the top ten of the Billboard charts by 1977. While the lyrics sound dirty on the surface, the less obvious meaning trumps it. The title of the song derives from the idea that his fingers are moving in a walking motion while he is sexually pleasing her. What have the artists said about the song? I was very into funk like The Meters and Sly and the Family Stone at the time
