Undercover Angel" was a hit single for singer/songwriter Alan O'Day. Certified gold, it reached on the Billboard Hot 100 (one of 1977's ten biggest hits) and on the Australian Singles Chart. In 1977, Warner Bros. Music decided to form a special label, Pacific Records, for their composers who also performed. O'Day was the first artist signed, and his first release was "Undercover Angel. The original vinyl pressing was released with the B-side "Just You".

Musicians on the Appetizers album: Alan O´Day, Jeff Porcaro, Scott Edwards, Lee Sklar, Dean Parks, Jay Graydon, Victor Feldman, Steve Barri, Tony Terran, Steve Madaio, Fred Seldon, Jim Horn, Carol Parks, Jim Haas & Michael Omartian. Pacific Records 1979. Tracks: How To Pick Up Girls, Tonight You Belong To Me, Oh Johnny!, Skinny Girls, England, Love At First Night, Telephone Lovers, People Who Talk To Themselves & Ain’t That Crazy Baby.

Alan O'Day's Caress Me Pretty Music is an excellent, heartfelt album from a singer/songwriter best known for three frivolous records which were huge hits: "Rock & Roll Heaven," the fourth biggest chart climber for the Righteous Brothers; a number one hit for Helen Reddy, "Angie Baby"; and O'Day's only solo smash, the ridiculous "Undercover Angel," which also hit number.

Caress Me Pretty Music. This song is by Alan O'Day and appears on the album Appetizers (1977). Well my ship didn't ever come inThe soles on my shoes are wearing thinAnd all my leaves are turning brown'Cause everybody kind of let me down. Well I feel so over and outDon't have much I want to talk aboutI find a place that no one will knowThen I crawl in my radio.

Around 1965, O'Day was in the band "Alan & Bob & Denny," a show group that did pop songs and some comedy. They played nightclubs in the Pasadena & Hollywood area, and were on The Ed Sullivan Show on November 14, 1965, as the backup band for ienne Virginia O'Brien. The album was not a major commercial success and he temporarily put his recording career on hiatus.

Alan O'Day - Angie Baby Lyrics. You live your life in the songs you hear On the rock & roll radio And when a young girl doesn't have any friends That's a really nice. Heyo! SONGLYRICS just got interactive.
