Under a Blood Red Sky is a live album by Irish rock band U2, produced by Jimmy Iovine and released on 21 November 1983. Along with its companion concert film, U2 Live at Red Rocks: Under a Blood Red Sky, the release helped establish U2's reputation globally as a live act. The album consists of live recordings from three shows on the band's War Tour, from Colorado and Boston in the US and from Germany.

The album peaked at N. on the UK album charts and remained on the charts for a total of 192 weeks. In the US, it reached as high as N. 3 on the album charts. Under A Blood Red Sky was certified multi-platinum by the RIAA with 3 million units sold.

Under a Blood Red Sky is a live album by Irish rock band U2, produced by Jimmy Iovine and released in 1983. An accompanying concert video entitled U2 Live at Red Rocks: Under a Blood Red Sky was released the following year. Unlike the album, the film was recorded entirely at the dramatic outdoor Red Rocks Amphitheatre on 5 June 1983. The band's performance of "Sunday Bloody Sunday" from the film has been cited as one of Rolling Stone's "50 Moments that Changed the History of Rock and Roll. The title is taken from the lyrics of the song "New Year's Day", originally released on U2's War album.

On a trivia point the track Gloria differs slightly from the version included on the album of UNDER A BLOOD RED SKY. Compare the bit where Bono says " This is Red Rocks. The rocks " and the guitar blast when he says " This is the Edge " to see what I mean.

Also of note, the remastered DVD is not simply a reissue of the original 12 or 13-track Under a Blood Red Sky video. Rather, it presents U2’s June 5, 1983 Red Rocks show in its entirety (with the exception of I Fall Down, which suffered from a recording glitch) for the first time. All told, the remastered DVD adds 25-30 minutes of previously unseen concert footage compared to the original VHS release. The remainder of the live tracks on the CD come from shows in Boston on May 6, 1983, and St. Goarhausen, West Germany on August 20, 1983.
