Prevail is the ninth studio album by Canadian death metal band Kataklysm, released May 23, 2008 in Europe and June 6, 2008 in North America. Music videos were filmed for the tracks "Taking The World By Storm" and "Blood in Heaven". A bonus DVD was included containing the "Taking the World by Storm" video, a photo gallery and a live performance in December 2007 at DeepRockDrive studios in Las Vegas. The songs were voted for by fans watching the performance online.

Trauma is the second album by the American metalcore band I Prevail, released on March 29, 2019. The album was the fourth best-selling album of the week in the US upon release, while its first single, "Breaking Down", hit the top 10 of the Billboard Mainstream Rock Songs chart in May 2019. The album's creation was heavily affected by the bands earlier rise to fame, complications, and struggles with depression.

Prevail is Kataklysm's ninth full-length album. I want to start off saying that this was an amazing album! I have been listening to this album repeatedly for the past two hours and I have not gotten bored at all! One of the most noticeable features in this album is the guitar work. I think all the riffs are somewhat similar, but not in a bad way at all! They all sort of have a melodic sound to them. In my opinion it makes the album much more enjoyable. The drums fit in very well with the guitar work and have a pretty steady beat throughout the entire album.

I Prevail's Eric Vanlerberghe recently spoke with Loudwire Nights host Toni Gonzalez about how to make rock "fresh and different" and their "eclectic" upcoming sophomore album Trauma, due for release on Mar. 29.
