Duran Duran - All You Need Is Now flac album

Duran Duran was always hard to play in clubs except one song: "Girls On Film" which was tuned from the hardest electro underground parties to the retro student parties up to special insets for House or Techno. Of course "Rio" or "Hungry Like A Wolf" are cult. Duran Duran had at least minimum the same quantity of good pop songs like THE POLICE if you look on "View To A Kill", "The Reflex", "Save A Prayer", "Wild Boys", "Union Of A Snake", et. .But from an artistic standpoint, I don't get the idea of "returning to one's roots" or whatever BS the band uses to justify making an album of sellout, throwaway pop.

All You Need Is Now (album promo) is a Duran Duran 14-track promotional only CD, released by Tape Modern in 2011. Housed in a PVC slip case, the CD was sent to radio stations and selected media prior to the general release of All You Need Is Now. Album notes: This thirteenth studio album from the legendary British new wave/new romantic band is the follow-up to 2007's Red Carpet Massacre and is the first following their split with Epic Records

So when Duran Duran decided that they wanted to revisit the feel that they had on their classic eighties albums while also sounding current, Mark Ronson was clearly an appropriate choice to produce. Unfortunately, some of his production choices may have weakened the album a bit, especially the flagrant use of auto-tune on Simon Le Bon's vocals, which we know from all their classic works is totally unnecessary.

Duran Duran and producer Mark Ronson envisioned the 2011 release All You Need Is Now as a sequel to the band’s 1982 effort Rio, but fans are better off approaching it as the imaginary effort that came after 1983’s Seven and the Ragged Tiger

The best Duran Duran album for 18 years.
