Innerspeaker is the debut studio album by Australian rock band Tame Impala released on 21 May 2010 by Modular Recordings. The album was recognized as the 83rd Best Album of the Decade So Far by Pitchfork in August 2014. Tame Impala had previously released their self-titled EP in 2008 and single "Sundown Syndrome" in 2009.

Tame Impala's debut album Innerspeaker is in my opinion an excellent debut, refining their 60's psychedelic rock sound and creating some ultimately amazing tracks in the process. While this album isn't their most varied in terms of tone and while the structure can be a bit odd (like I Don't Really Mind could be placed in the beginning or in the middle and it would work better), it's still an amazing display of some just incredible soundscapes and also some really great writing too.

The discography of Tame Impala, a psychedelic rock project by the Australian musician Kevin Parker, consists of three studio albums, two live albums, three extended plays, thirteen singles and several collaborations and compilation appearances. Tame Impala were formed in Perth in 2007 after Parker's home recordings on Myspace drew attention from the independent record label Modular Recordings.

The album is trance-inducing with its grooves, while in your face and full with its all-encompassing mixing. guitars frequently pan around your head like jets overhead flying through clouds perhaps a bit smokier then your average cumulus.
