The Beatles' Christmas Album was most likely sent to US fan club members in the spring of 1971. As a result, the 1983 album was never released, and the two 1982 LPs were withdrawn.

What started out as dutiful recitations of Christmas thanks evolved over the years into charming verbal anarchy and then elaborate audio productions with sketches, poems, and songs.
