Viva! Roxy Music was the first live Roxy Music album. It was released in August 1976 and was recorded at three venues in the United Kingdom between 1973 and 1975. The recordings were from the band's shows at the Glasgow Apollo in November 1973, Newcastle City Hall in October 1974 and the Wembley Empire Pool in October 1975. All songs written by Bryan Ferry except "Out of the Blue" by Ferry and Phil Manzanera. Bryan Ferry - vocals, keyboards.

Roxy Music is the debut studio album by the English glam rock band of the same name. It was released on 16 June 1972. It was generally well received by contemporary critics and made it to number 10 in the UK Albums Chart.

Pyjamarama" was a non-album single hastily released to promote Roxy Music's second album, For Your Pleasure, after the band had wrapped up back-to-back tours of the UK and US. The band's synth player, Brian Eno, was disappointed in the track, even after the single broke into the Top 10. "We should never have put it out as a single," he said in a 1973 interview. We did it in a rush after our American tour. We were still musically disorientated at that time. Do The Strand' would have been far better, but we hadn't recorded it at that time

Roxy Music's Pyjamarama was released February 1973 c/w The Pride And The Pain and reached number 10 in the UK singles charts. The song was released to promote the For Your Pleasure album but was not included on the album. A slightly different mix was used for the Greatest Hits compilation album and b-side version to the 1977 re-release of Virginia Plain. Pyjamarama was played regularly during the early tours but hadn't been performed live since 1975 until it was reintroduced to the live set for Roxy Music's 2005 tour
