Meltdown: Live in Mexico City is a Blu-ray and triple-disc CD live album by the English progressive rock band King Crimson. Recorded over five nights in July 2017, Meltdown was released on 20 October 2018 and was produced by Bill Rieflin from multitrack recordings. The release was announced in August 2018 and was preceded by streaming of the track "Indiscipline" on 4 October.
King Crimson is a band that continues to defy conventional expectations. As listeners to last year’s rush-released official bootleg from June 2017 recorded in Chicago discovered, this band gets better by the year. All of the concerts were recorded and filmed with a view to issuing a definitive document of Crimson live in 2017 & Meltdown is the result of that process.

Live in Mexico City is a live album by the band King Crimson, first released as a free Windows Media Audio download in 1999. Some tracks later appeared on the live albums Cirkus: The Young Persons' Guide to King Crimson Live (1999) and Vrooom Vrooom (2001), and as part of the expanded Thrak box set in 2015. This first press edition includes:- the Blu-ray Disc + 3xHQCD Japanese edition* of Meltdown;
- a King Crimson branded ticket holder and a King Crimson branded strap;

*The Blu-ray Disc + 3xHQCD set is packaged in two mini-LP style gatefold sleeve enclosed in an outer slipcase with obi strip.
This set contains over three and a half hours of material performed during King Crimson’s five night residency at Teatro Metropolitan, Mexico City in July 2017 plus audio extras. The Blu-Ray contains over two hours of multi-camera HD recorded footage, audio soundtrack in 24/48 LPCM, hi-res stereo and 5.1 DTS HD-MA (with 'picture off’ mode allowing the music to be heard independently in lossless audio).
Meltdown includes, for the first time with this line-up, audio recordings of Breathless, Discipline, Moonchild and Tony and Jeremy’s nightly Cadenza improvs.
Mixed by Don Gunn, mixes produced by King Crimson member Bill Rieflin from full multi-track recordings.
