Red is the seventh studio album by English progressive rock group King Crimson, released in 1974 by Island Records in the United Kingdom and by Atlantic Records in the United States. It was their last studio recording of the 1970s and the last before lead member Robert Fripp temporarily disbanded the group. Though their lowest-charting album at the time, spending only one week in the UK charts, Red has received critical acclaim.

The Great Deceiver (King Crimson album). The Great Deceiver is a live 4CD box set by the band King Crimson, released on Virgin Records in 1992. In 2007, it was reissued as two volumes of 2 CDs each. The track listing on the volume 1 CD 1 lists 11 tracks, incorrectly listing "The Talking Drum" and the abbreviated "Larks' Tongues in Aspic, Part Two" from the Pittsburgh show from CD 1 of the volume 2 set.

Disc one tracks through In the Court of the Crimson King (1969), In the Wake of Poseidon (1970), Lizard (1970), and Islands (1971). Disc three houses cuts from Larks' Tongues in Aspic (1973), Starless and Bible Black (1974), and Red (1974), with abridged readings of "Larks' Tongues in Aspic, Pt. 1" and "Starless" being the only comparative anomalies. Disc four concludes the collection in epic fashion with what is hands-down the most compelling aggregate of performances ever assembled from the 1973-1974 lineup. The vast majority of the USA (1975) album is featured, with the notable exception of a slightly abridged "Exiles.
