Night School is the third album by American electronic music band Neon Indian. It was announced on August 13, 2015, and was released on October 16, 2015. The album title was an intentional nod to Alan Palomo's other music project, titled VEGA, for which he has produced only a single EP. Noticing that ideas from both Neon Indian and VEGA were merging, Palomo decided to combine the two projects into one and retire the use of the VEGA moniker.

Interestingly, VEGA INTL. Night School isn’t the third record Alan wrote as Neon Indian. Famously, after writing a third record and having his laptop stolen while he was passed out outside his apartment, Alan decided to press on and move on from that sound. The result? Night School, which showcases Alan’s desire for everything to sound bigger and brighter. Luckily for Neon Indian, the resulting album is also much, much better than expected.

Night School is unimaginatively the album you would expect from Neon Indian by now-one that comfortably and sublimely manages to work inside and outside of the expectations set by their previous work. As with every Neon Indian album, VEGA INTL Night School can feel chaotic, effusive, even overwhelming at times.
