The Section were a US instrumental rock band formed in the early 1970s by guitarist Danny Kortchmar, keyboardist Craig Doerge, bassist Leland Sklar, and drummer Russ Kunkel. They are best known for both studio and stage work in support of some of the best selling singer/songwriters and solo singers of that decade. Their frequent appearances on the records of artists signed to Asylum Records made them the label's de facto house band.

Atlanta Rhythm Section (album). Atlanta Rhythm Section is the 1972 first album by the American Southern rock band Atlanta Rhythm Section. It was originally released on the Decca label DL-75265. It was produced by Buddy Buie. The album was re-released in 1973 with Back Up Against the Wall as a double album on MCA label MCA-24114.

The eighth Atlanta Rhythm Section album (and sixth for Polydor), Underdog, was released in June 1979 and produced Top 20 US hits Do It or Die ( and Spooky (.The final two albums on Polydor, Are You Ready? and The Boys from Doraville was the end of the bands relationship with the label. They went on to record five more albums – Quinella (1981), Truth in a Structured Form (1989), Partly Plugged (1997), Eufaula (1999) and With All Due Respect (2011) and continue to play live.

Golden Section (album).

80 is Kendrick Lamar’s debut studio album, released on July 2, 2011 through Top Dawg Entertainment (Although the project was marketed and distributed like a studio album, Lamar has consistently referred to it as a mixtape). 80 is a combination of the name for inner city housing, or Section 8 housing, as well as the decade that Kendrick was born in, the 1980s
