Reissue of the 1973 album by Danny "Kootch" Kortchmar who is best known as a studio guitarist extraordinaire who has played on countless albums. Kortchmar made his solo debut with Kootch; but for the most part he remained best known as a backing musician, lending his talents to records from artists including Linda Ronstadt, Warren Zevon, Harry Nilsson and Jackson Browne. He has issued a few solo albums.

He then emerged as a member of several aspiring New York '60s groups, as the Kingbees and Flying Machine, the latter of which featured his fellow James Taylor.
