Sometimes, Al has written songs that are laugh-out-loud funny and Mandatory Fun has another example. My husband had to pull over while we were listening to this album for the first time because of "The Sports Song. We are both sports fans, and this song is hysterical.

Weird Al Yankovic’s epic fourteenth collection of parodies and original comedy songs. Mandatory Fun includes parodies of Iggy Azalea, Lorde, Robin Thicke, Imagine Dragons and Pharrell Williams! Mandatory Fun yet again shows that the comedic genius inside Alfred Yankovic’s head is alive and kicking, bringing along even more hilarious jokes and cuts set to the tunes of today’s big commercial hits.

Tacky" is a song by American musician "Weird Al" Yankovic from his fourteenth studio album, Mandatory Fun (2014). The song is a parody of the 2013 single "Happy" by Pharrell Williams. The song mocks questionable taste in fashion as well as activities considered gauche. He remarked he was "honored" to have his work spoofed by Yankovic.

After more than 30 years on the charts, comedian-singer "Weird Al" Yankovic earns his first No. 1 album on the Billboard 200, as "Mandatory Fun" debuts atop the list. The album is the first comedy set to top the chart since 1963, and logs the largest sales week for a comedy album since 1994. Mandatory Fun" was released July 15 through Way Moby and RCA Records, and sold 104,000 copies in the week ending July 20, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

Weird Al Yankovic’s Mandatory Fun is the first comedy album to top Billboard’s album chart since 1963. The reason: the spectacular, viral success of the online video campaign to promote his latest album, Mandatory Fun (RCA), which this week became the first No. 1 of Mr. Yankovic’s three-decade career.
