Storm is a much more layered album than any of Shear's previous work and the songs are much more optimistic in nature. All songs written, performed and produced by Tom Shear.

Assemblage 23 ‎– Storm. Label: Metropolis ‎– MET 339. Format: CD, Album. Not a single bad track on the album. Again, Tom shows that electronic music indeed has a soul, and should never be underestimated by the guitar/bass/drum world.

Assemblage 23's third album further refined the infectious sound the band had become known for combining thunderous dance tracks with moments of quiet introspection. Includes the hits "Opened", "Drive"", Document".

Talk about Assemblage 23 - Storm

Gardall
Storm takes a much different approach from Defiance, using heavier beats and loads of symphonic synth sounds, making this release one of the best. The first single, Let the Wind Erase Me, takes on its own with an odd time signature and melody. Ground, the second single brings out the best in Tom. Not a single bad track on the album. Again, Tom shows that electronic music indeed has a soul, and should never be underestimated by the guitar/bass/drum world. 5/5
