What We Did on Our Holidays (released as Fairport Convention in the United States) is the 1969 second album by the band Fairport Convention. It was their first album to feature singer-songwriter Sandy Denny, whose "haunting, ethereal vocals gave Fairport a big boost", according to Richie Unterberger.

Recorded live at Fairport's Cropredy Convention on the evening of Saturday 12 August 2017 in the band's fiftieth anniversary year. Other Versions (1 of 1) View All. Cat.

What We Did on Our Saturday (Live). Like their peers The Byrds, Buffalo Springfield and Jefferson Airplane they were blessed with several considerable individual talents and produced music that -at least initially- was eclectic, as well as exploratory.

The band celebrated its 50th anniversary in front of 20,000 fans at its own Cropredy festival on 12 August 2017. The 25 tracks span the band's entire history and the album features the current line-up plus a galaxy of former members and guests including Richard Thompson, Ashley Hutchings, Iain Matthews, Dave Mattacks, Judy Dyble, Maartin Allcock and Ralph McTell.
