Queen is the self-titled debut studio album by the British rock band Queen, released on 13 July 1973 by EMI Records in the UK and by Elektra Records in the US. It was recorded at Trident Studios and De Lane Lea Music Centre, London, with production by Roy Thomas Baker, John Anthony and the band members themselves. The album was influenced by heavy metal and progressive rock. The lyrics are based on a variety of topics, including folklore ("My Fairy King") and religion ("Jesus").

Queen Rock Montreal is a live album by the English rock band Queen. It was released on 29 October 2007 as a double CD, Blu-ray, DVD, and triple vinyl. It was recorded in Montreal, Quebec at the Montreal Forum on 24 November and 25 November 1981, exactly ten years before lead singer Freddie Mercury died of AIDS.

Essentially, the 2007 release Queen Rock Montreal is the long-delayed official release of the soundtrack to the We Will Rock You concert video, capturing highlights from the group's two-night stand at the Montreal Forum on November 24 and 25, 1981. This double-disc contains the full set, including the previously unreleased "Flash" and "The Hero," and it benefits from the ebb and flow of a full concert, giving a broader, fuller sense of Queen at the peak of their power, which they were close to being at the time this was recorded.

Notes

CD1/1 - CD2/11: Recorded at Yoyogi National Gymnasium, Tokyo, Japan on May 11, 1985 (NOT Castle Hall, Osaka Japan 15th May 1985.)
(It is one of many bootlegs passed off as the Osaka show from 4 nights later, to lure buyers into getting what seemed to be a different show from the one that was just released on VHS. The presence of Dragon Attack (as this is from a radio broadcast, not the video) certainly helped their cause).

CD2/12-15: BBC Radio Session from August 1977 with audience overdub, and not San Diego 1977 as stated on cover.

CD1/10 is mistyped as "It's A Hard Live".
CD1/13 is mistyped as "Is This The World We Create"
CD1 total running time: 42:36.

CD2/05 is mistyped as "Bohemian Rhapsodie".
CD2/12 is the fast version of "We Will Rock You".
CD2/14 is mistyped as "Melancholy Blues".
CD2 total running time: 63:22.
