It was released by Elektra Records in 1991. It peaked at number 24 on the Billboard Heatseekers Albums chart, as well as number 48 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. The title of the album is a reference to a quote from a Bugs Bunny cartoon. This is in turn a reference to Liberace's catchphrase, which he would say on his television show whenever his brother George did not appear.

After securing a record deal due to his association with his cousin Ice Cube, Del recorded the album over a two year period at Echo Sound Studio in Los Angeles. The album was produced by Del, Ice Cube, and Boogiemen (a duo consisting of DJ Pooh and Rashad Coes).
