Synchronicity is the fifth and final studio album by the Police, released in the United Kingdom on 17 June 1983. The band's most successful release, the album includes the hit singles "Every Breath You Take", "King of Pain", "Wrapped Around Your Finger", and "Synchronicity II". The album's title and much of the material for the songs were inspired by Arthur Koestler's The Roots of Coincidence

It took until 1985 for a live Police album to be released, but when it came it proved to have been worth the wait. This double live CD captured two shows in the States, some four years apart. Catch the band in their early days at a show at the Boston Orpheum in 1979 and then compare and contrast to a Synchronicity-era performance at Atlanta's Omni Auditorium. Arguably, the first disc is the most interesting as it captures the band in their first flushes of success. The band had been Stateside regulars building up a loyal following as they gigged doggedly around the clubs.

Fiction records 1989. THE CURE - SHOW - Vintage Cassette Tape FIXHC25 - LIVE ALBUM. In good condition apart from one edge of the inlay which is a bit worn and creased and the case which isn't cracked but is worn and has lost its lustre. Tape plays great though.

The Police - Sting, Stuart Copeland, Andy Summers. One of the greatest bands. These are images, created by me or Pinned from elsewhere, of records I have and other memorabilia. It contains their first 5 singles (leaving out "Fallout"). The only new release was the '7 with a-side "The Bed's Too Big Without You (Mono)" and b-side "Truth Hits Everybody (live)", which was later released on the CD2 "LIVE". All sleeves also contain a printed foto and lyrics each.

The first CD was recorded back in 1979 in Boston, for an FM broadcast during the tour for their second album, Reggatta de Blanc, while the second disc is from their final tour in 1983 during a tour stop in Atlanta. While the first disc is excellent - it captures the Police at their most frantic and energetic - the second disc is pretty darn uninspired (Sting's vocals in particular), as evidenced by the unnecessary and annoying backup singers that are detected throughout.
