Mini Pops was the name given to a number of early drum machines from the Japanese musical equipment company Korg during the late 1960s and the 1970s. The machines were based around a number of preset rhythm patterns, such as waltz, samba and rhumba. One notable use of a Mini Pops drum machine was by French musician Jean-Michel Jarre, it was used throughout his breakthrough album, Oxygene.

Let's Dance is the 15th studio album by David Bowie. It was originally released in April 1983, almost three years after his previous album, Scary Monsters (and Super Creeps)

K-tel first launched the original Mini Pops in the early 1980s. The popular albums featured talented children singing the pop hits of the 80′s including classics such as Cruel Summer, Video Killed The Radio Star and Rock This Town. In 2004, these new Minipop Kids have now returned featuring all new kids and all new songs. Minipop Kids is the rebirth of the Mini Pops franchise from the 80's.
