Flowers is the third studio album of American girl group The Emotions released in June 1976 by Columbia Records. The album reached No. 5 on the Billboard Top R&B albums chart. Flowers has also been certified Gold in the US by the RIAA. As the group's first LP upon Columbia Records, Flowers was produced by Charles Stepney and Maurice White of Earth, Wind and Fire. The album was reissued with an 8-page booklet, liner notes and a bonus track in 2012.

Freighton
This is obviously their debut, and whereas some tracks display promising arrangements and some interesting deep, brooding sounds (perhaps especially on "Trust this side" and "Edward!"), as far as an album goes, "Emotions" can simply not be rated as equal to your average record. Hence a rating below 3. The music is dark and melodic EBM, and as hints of talent show, I'll expect their later pieces to be quite good.
