John Villemonte, People Like You, self-released LP, 1976. This is a nice little record of dreamy singer-songwriter folk with some otherworldly vibes. He's too good to be called an outsider artist, but this record still emits those magical qualities. It ticks a lot of boxes in the mystical folk area and has improved with every listen. I really like it, but I'm willing to give it up if the price is right. Morning work softness. found this a couple years back with a hand written letter to what seems like someone at a label and thanks them for showing interest in his music. He mentions his upcoming trip to NYC to participate in a recording workshop and the commercial appeal of his music. Up and down moods all over this one.
