ORA’s third album release, a collection of works by Thomas Tallis featuring six ORA commissioned reflections by six contemporary composers, will be released in early 2017. Launched at the Cutty Sark in Greenwich, and with an appearance on In Tune, earlier this year, ORA'S third album for harmonia mundi pays tribute to the particular golden age of Thomas Tallis. The opening years of the 21st century can justifiably lay claim to being a new golden age for choral music. I wanted to embark on a series of recordings to reflect this and to showcase some of today s best contemporary composers,. 11 Loquebantur 04:00. 12 Many are the Wonders 04:43. 13 Archbishop Parker’s Psalter: V. Ora et labora (Pray and work) is an album by Croatian singer Marko Perković Thompson. It was released on April 10, 2013. All songs on the album were written by Marko Perković and Tiho Orlić. The album featured heavy Christian and Catholic themes, as well as Croatian patriotic elements, like most of Thompson's. The title of the album serves as the core theme that is reiterated in both the first ("Sokolov krik") and last ("Put u raj") song

Many Are the Wonders. The selling point of ORA’s compilations of choral music is that they pair the old with musical reflections that are brand new. On this disc, short pieces by Thomas Tallis, leading composer of the English Reformation, are threaded through with seven new commissions, ranging from Steven Stucky’s chattering O sacrum convivium to the rolling waves of sound in Richard Allain’s ambitious Videte miraculum. All are brought vividly to life by ORA under Suzi Digby.

So Many Wonders is a song sung by young Fluttershy in The Cutie Mark Chronicles. A large swarm of butterflies cushions her fall from Cloudsdale, and she experiences life on the ground for the first time, which makes her break into song. Filled with so many wonders? Casting its spell. Squirrels in the trees. And the cute little bunnies. And bees with their honey. Hooooonneeeeeeey! Oooh, what a magical place.

Various lists of the Wonders of the World have been compiled from antiquity to the present day, to catalogue the world's most spectacular natural wonders and manmade structures.

The Great Pyramid is the only one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World that still stands. More than 100,000 slaves had been laboring for twenty years to build it. They had no machines, not even carts – all the work was done by human strength alone. Yet each huge block was so well laid that the Pyramid has stood for 5,000 years. Near the Great Pyramid in Egypt there is a huge sculptured rock called the Sphynx.

Many other buildings, including the summer palace and a gigantic bridge spanning the Euphrates, embellished the city. And of course, in this context, the gardens were seen as havens of happiness, to possess it meant the wealth of its owner. The most important were made for the bride of Nebuchadnezzar, Amytis, daughter of the king of the Medes. The Colossus of Rhodes is the most ephemeral of the seven wonders of the ancient world. It was built in 303 BC and destroyed by an earthquake in 224 BC. It took only 12 years to build it with a well-established technique.
