The Partridge Family Album is the first studio album by The Partridge Family. It was released in October 1970 and included their first recording, "I Think I Love You". It has a picture of the whole family on the back and a small picture of David Cassidy and Shirley Jones. The album cover is made to look like an old-fashioned photo album. The original release of the album included a framed color photograph of the group

The Partridge Family's Greatest Hits album was issued by Arista in 1989. It was never released on vinyl, only on cassette and compact disc, and is the first Partridge Family album to ever be released on CD. It contains 16 songs, including the TV show's second theme song, "Come on Get Happy" which was never featured on a Partridge family album, and two songs by David Cassidy as a solo act: "Cherish" and "Could It Be Forever". It has liner notes by Danny Bonaduce and a Partridge Family trivia quiz.

I love all The Partridge Family albums but this one is certainly the best. Granted, everyone in the group did not actually sing but we were graced with original vocals by David Cassidy and Shirley Jones. This collection is pure bubble-gum pop but it also proves to be a perfectly made pop album. There are some very good songs here and the selection is very eclectic with even some hints of a slight r@b sound. The set opens with BRAND NEW ME a very expressive pop rocker

The voices and music of the Partridge Family were augmented by other performers. The first season episodes originally featured the theme song's initial version titled "When We're Singin'". Subsequently, on cable reruns, the rewritten version that first appeared on the 2nd season, "C'mon Get Happy" is used for the whole series. I like "The Partridge Family" for a lot of reasons. I like the music, the cast, the wonderful wardrobe and just about everything else. The shame of it all is that I can't find it anywhere on television (for quite some time now). Come on, TV Land! Where are you? The cast - Shirley Jones is great. She's the perfect, wholesome mom. David Cassidy is great and I'm not just saying that because he can really belt out those songs, but because he's such the innocent teenager of the family.
