Green is the fourth studio album by British progressive rock musician Steve Hillage. Written in spring 1977 at the same time as his previous album, the funk-inflected Motivation Radio (1977), Green was originally going to be released as The Green Album as a companion to The Red Album (the originally intended name for Motivation Radio). However, this plan was dropped and after a US tour in late 1977, Green was recorded alone, primarily in Dorking, Surrey, and in London.

Live Herald Remastered Caroline 2007. Steve Hillage 'Hippi from outer space' (ex- Arachel, Kahn & Gong) presents his first double live album, released during the height of the decline of progressive rock. Though Steve Hillage has played on the major Canterbury group Kahn, I think his solo work belongs in the symphonic prog genre.
Originally released in 1979, this album of Hillage's self-styled "elektric gypsy musick" was spread across two vinyl discs; when subsequently reissued during the digital era the guitarist/singer's cosmic space rock set - including a version of George Harrison's "It's All Too Much" - fit onto a single 64-plus-minute CD.
