2000 ‎(LP, Album, RP). Panton.

2000 is the second solo studio album by American rapper Grand Puba. It was released on June 20, 1995 through Elektra Records. Recording sessions took place at Soundtrack Studios, Platinum Island Studios, Battery Studios, V. Dubbs Studios, Acme Recording Studios, Fiber Studios, and Chung King Studios in New York. Production was handled by Mark Sparks, Minnesota, DJ Alamo, Chris Liggio and Dante Ross

The album carried the torch for song-based hard rock awesomeness during the lean years of rap-rock, cribbing as much from the Beatles and glam-era Bowie as from avant-metal kin like The Melvins. In the early 2000s, the former frontman for North Carolina alt-country also-rans Whiskeytown blossomed into a shockingly prolific, amazingly consistent song machine. On Gold, released two weeks after 9/11, he set evocations of hard loving and heavy drinking on the Lower East Side to eclectic, heartfelt roots rock.

KLB, launched in 2000, is the first studio album by pop trio KLB, is best known as KLB (2000) and is one of the most successful albums of the band by the number of copies sold and hit singles on the radio. It was produced by composer Piska, also responsible for most of the compositions on the disc. In this album has the first four of the main successes of KLB, which are: "A dor desse amor", "Ela Não Está Aqui", "Estou em suas mãos" and "Por que tem que ser assim?".

When the same band released In Rainbows in 2007, many of those same people headed to the internet and paid whatever they wanted, then listened to it on a computer file on their phone. Yet as the album became untethered from the physical world, it still remained the benchmark form for artists who aimed to make a lasting statement.

2000 is the second album by hip hop artist Grand Puba of the group Brand Nubian, released in mid-1995 through Elektra Records. The album wasn't as acclaimed as his solo debut Reel to Reel, and wasn't able to sell a significant number of units, despite a Billboard Hot 100 hit, "I Like It (I Wanna Be Where You Are)". Puba reunited with Brand Nubian following 2000, for the release of the album Foundation. He didn't return with another solo album until 2001's Understand This.
