As an outgrowth of the Rick Nelson Garden Party incident, an oldies revival occurred in pop music around 1973, so Side "B" of the album featured an oldies medley. The medley starts with the Carpenters' original song "Yesterday Once More".

Now and Then", brilliant easy listening! Having been a lifelong Carpenters fan, I have all the albums on Vinyl, and am now collecting CD's to preserve the original LP's. As well as standard tracks, part of the album takes classic tracks from the 50's and 60's and puts them into a ficticious radio DJ's session as a medley.
