The electronic music group Tangerine Dream has released more than one hundred albums, singles, EPs and compilations since the group was formed in 1967. Tangerine Dream's releases have been divided into several eras based on the record label of the time. Tangerine Dream's first releases were on the Ohr label.

Ricochet (Tangerine Dream album). Ricochet is the first live album and seventh album overall by German electronic music group Tangerine Dream, released in 1975. It consists of two side-long compositions mixed from recordings of the UK and France portions of their August–October 1975 European Tour.

Both Schnitzler and Schulze would depart after this album, with the latter forming Ash Ra Tempel and going on to become the other major proponent of the "Berlin School". Second album, Alpha Centauri, saw the addition of long-standing member Christopher Franke replacing Schulze, while Peter Baumann would come aboard for Zeit. I bought this album not knowing anything about the movie but knew everything that i could know about Tangerine Dream in 1986. Almost 6 months after I saw them the first time on one of their arguably "best last tours". They got this gig because director Ridley Scott decided on a new soundtrack for the American release of the film, instead of the original one lined up by Jerry Goldsmith, to appeal to younger movie goers and by adding Bryan Ferry's "Is Your Love Strong Enough" tagged on for good measure.
