Tangerine Dream - Force Majeure flac album

Force Majeure is the twelfth album by the German group Tangerine Dream, originally issued on transparent vinyl. Following Stratosfear, the album developed Tangerine Dream's further evolution toward the more melodic sound they would adopt in the 1980s, with a heavier presence of guitars, drums and distinct musical suites in the tradition of progressive rock, rather than the band's 1970s output of Berlin School.

FORCE MAJEURE is a terrific Tangerine Dream album, and quite simply their best, for my money. With the previous album Cyclone, Force Majeure is the most progressive Tangerine Dream album: many hard rock guitar solos, acoustic guitars, drums and cello. When you think about it, it is very weird for a band like that to have drums! But it works very well.

This time around, guitar and drums (played by Klaus Krieger) are as prominent as the keyboards. As the name would appear to indicate, the music on the album doesn't seem played so much as propelled forward, the overall pace rarely slackening for long

This is a vinyl record album by tangerine dream called "Force majeure", & IT's on the virgin intl. Label in stereo, & IT came out in 1979. IT Contains (3) electronic tracks like: "Force majeure, cloudburst + thru metamorphic rocks". note: members of the group are: edgar froese, chris franke + klaus krieger. Although a singer was not used on Force Majeure, the rock drummer position was maintained and filled by Klaus Krieger. However, in combination with the drums, acoustic guitars, and the vigorous electric guitar solos, this album has more of a prog rock feel; especially in contrast with albums like Rubycon.

Force Majeure was critically acclaimed and went Top 30 in the UK. Up to now this album is one of the most famous among Tangerine Dream fans. The sound quality of this release, using the Super Bit Mapping technology, is probably the best up to now. Show more.
