Yoko Ono was born February 18th, 1933 in Tokyo. She is 68 years old, and has been hated longer than many of you have existed. Ono's art, while internationally respected and admired for decades, has been overshadowed by a sect of music fans who believe she was responsible for tearing apart the great white hopes of rock and roll. There are people who say she's still wreaking havoc by manipulating her murdered husband's image to suit her professional obligations and lifestyle of comfort beyond luxury

Blueprint for a Sunrise is a concept album of experimental feminist rock by Yoko Ono. It features live tracks, samples and remixes of previous recordings, and a sequel. The recurring theme throughout is the suffering of women. In the liner notes, Ono talks about the continuing relevance of feminism and "waking up in the middle of the night hearing thousands of women screaming". As of September 2009, the album had sold around 3,000 copies in the USA. The album is currently out of print on CD.

The best moments of the album, however, come when the outside tendencies are reigned in, and something more resembling conventional songs come forward. The insistent funk groove with blasts of guitar noise on "It's Time for Action!" and Marley-flavored reggae of "I'm Not Getting Enough" are particularly successful, as are the Rhodes-led "Wouldnit Swing" and the piano-driven rocker "Soul Got Out of the Bo. "I Remember Everything" is a surprisingly tender love song
