We Have All the Time in the World" is a James Bond theme and popular song sung by Louis Armstrong. Its music was composed by John Barry and the lyrics by Hal David. It is a secondary musical theme in the 1969 Bond film On Her Majesty's Secret Service, the title theme being the instrumental "On Her Majesty's Secret Service", also composed by Barry. The song title is taken from Bond's final words in both the novel and the film, spoken after his wife's death.

This is labeled Louis Armstrong's All-Time Greatest Hits. Most of these are from later in his career, so one might raise some issues with that title, given his earlier corpus of work. Nonetheless, the works here are terrific in their own right. A sampling: "What a Wonderful World": Armstrong well displays his "lived in" voice. Considering Mr. Armstrong's long career, isn't it a bit foolish to think any one album could have ALL his best - just marketing hype. DUDE! take things in stride (more like. all the best tracks MCA had that didn't cost that much to include. What can be said for sure is that there are many tasty numbers on this CD. I GET IDEAS is a really cute tune - paying great homage to how much a talented songwriter AND performer can "SAY" about human "relations" (if you will) without actually saying anything.
Louis Armstrong’s career lasted over 50 years and his legacy continues to influence fans and artists all over the world. During his career, Armstrong appeared in dozens of movies and TV shows, wrote books and letters, and captivated the world with his gravely voice and impeccable trumpet playing one performance at a time. During that time, the United States grew into a more fractured nation with intense, sometimes violent struggles over issues such as Civil Rights and the war in Vietnam. Thiele realized the nation needed a healing message delivered as only Armstrong could deliver it and tapped songwriter George David Weiss to craft the song. In 1970, Armstrong returned to What a Wonderful World for the album Louis Armstrong and His Friends, remaking the song with an updated, funkier arrangement by Oliver Nelson.
