Soundwalk Collective is a multi-disciplinary audio-visual collective founded by Stephan Crasneanscki, including members Simone Merli and Kamran Sadeghi. The Collective’s approach to composition combines anthropology, ethnography, non-linear narrative, psycho-geography, the observation of nature, and explorations in recording and synthesis.

Soundwalk Collective is an experimental sound collective which currently operates in a continuously rotating constellation of sound artists and musicians. Distinguished collaborators include American singer, songwriter and poet Patti Smith with Killer Road and accompanied by Ethiopian Jazz musician Mulatu Astatke in Illuminations.

The Collective members describe their work as combining elements of "nature, anthropology, ethnography, non-linear narratives, psychogeography and the exploration of recording and synthesis.

Since 2012 SOUNDWALK COLLECTIVE collaborated with ARMA 17 by recording the vibration and resonance of the architectural structure of the club. The materials that constitute the structure of the building absorbed the sound frequencies and tones in its own unique way, producing in each turn a new sound that often contained a melodic element, allowing the building itself to be played as a musical instrument.
