Stage is David Bowie's second live album, recorded on the Isolar II Tour, and released by RCA Records in 1978. Though it was rumouredat the time that this would be his final outing with the label, following dissatisfaction over the promotion of Low and "Heroes", Bowie remained with RCA until 1982.

Producer – David Bowie, Tony Visconti. Recorded By, Mixed By – Tony Visconti. Rhythm Guitar – Carlos Alomar. Violin – Simon House. Written-By – David Bowie (tracks: A1 to B1, B3, C2 to C4, D2 to D4). Notes.

The second of two inessential double live albums David Bowie released in the '70s, 1978's Stage is a different beast than its 1974 predecessor, David Live. That album captured Bowie in a transitional phase, sliding from glam to stylized soul, while Stage was recorded in the thick of his Berlin phase with r Brian Eno, and Stage is an attempt to translate that sleek, angular, arty studio-bound sound to the live arena. This means not only are Low and Heroes given live treatments, but about half of both Ziggy Stardust and Station to Station are given new arrangements.

David Bowie is the self-titled debut studio album by English musician David Bowie, released on 1 June 1967, on Deram Records. Its content bears little overt resemblance to the type of music that later made him famous, such as the folk rock of "Space Oddity" or the glam rock of The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars.

Stage, es un álbum en vivo de David Bowie, lanzado en 1978. Consiste en el segundo álbum en vivo de la carrera de Bowie, siendo el primero David Live de 1974. Stage fue grabado durante la gira Isolar II Tour.

The World of David Bowie.

David Bowie is not a man one would expect to revel in the accidental. It is as much of a cliché to divine cold strategy in his every move as it is to pretend that strategy didn't exist for, say, Janis Joplin. In the battle of the openers, Stage wins- the damp gloom of "Warszawa" easily trumps the glam doom of "1984". David Live is a more genial album, as its title indicates. What a difference four years and a move to Berlin make: David of Stage doesn't appear to be the least bit concerned with what you'll think of it, or him.
