Scary Monsters (and Super Creeps), also known simply as Scary Monsters, is the 14th studio album by David Bowie, released on 12 September 1980 by RCA Records. It was Bowie's final studio album on the label and his first following the Berlin Trilogy of Low, "Heroes" and Lodger (1977–1979). Though considered very significant in artistic terms, the trilogy had proven less successful commercially.

Run, Run, Run. More on Genius. About Scary Monsters (and Super Creeps). Bowie compares the uncertainty of his upcoming career in the 80s to the anxiety one feels when entering a relationship. In a promo interview for the album, he stated that the song was from the perspective of the man, and his conflicted feelings about his influence on the girl. This theme of anxiety and self-doubt continues throughout Scary Monsters, making this an essential title track. It was released as the 3rd single for the album, with B-side Because You’re Young. Scary Monsters (and Super Creeps)" Track Info. Written By David Bowie.
David Bowie returned to relatively conventional rock & roll with Scary Monsters, an album that effectively acts as an encapsulation of all his '70s experiments. Though it doesn't have the vision of his other classic records, it wasn't designed to break new ground - it was created as the culmination of Bowie's experimental genre-shifting of the '70s.
But he jumped into the furnace, Singing old songs we loved. ANCIANT A New Career In A New Town) This is the second instalment of our album focus on David Bowie’s Scary Monsters (And Super Creeps)
Scary Monsters (And Super Creeps). Some would argue that this is the last great Bowie album, and certainly his only great album of the '80s. While it lacked the bite of its punk brethren at the time, it appealed to some fans of that genre and to middle-of-the-road rockers as well. Muscular playing met with no-frills production, and the product as a whole was infused with a gloriously arty style. It's No Game (Part I)" opens the album, and is sung in Japanese, and "It's No Game (Part II)" closes, in English.
Scary Monsters (And Super Creeps)". She could've been a killer if she didn't walk the way she do, and she do She opened strange doors that we'd never close again. She began to wail jealousies scream Waiting at the light know what I mean. Scary monsters, super creeps Keep me running, running scared
