Everything Will Be Alright in the End is the ninth studio album by American alternative rock band Weezer, released on October 7, 2014. It is Weezer's only album released by Republic Records, and the third produced by Ric Ocasek, who previously produced Weezer (1994) and Weezer (2001). Everything Will Be Alright in the End departs from the electronic pop production of Weezer's previous two albums, Raditude and Hurley, returning to a sound more reminiscent of the band's earlier albums.
Take me back, back to the shack Back to the strat with the lightning strap Kick in the door, more hardcore Rockin' out like it's '94 Let's turn up the radio Turn off those stupid singing shows I know where we need to go: Back to the shack. I finally settled down with my girl and I made up with my dad Had to go and make a few mistakes so I could find out who I am I'm lettin' all of these feelings out even if it means I fail 'Cause this is what I was meant to do and you can't put that on sale. Weezer goes back to rockin out like it’s ‘94 in their first single from Everything Will Be Alright in the End. The artwork for the single is the same as the Album Art, sans the Mountain Monster – check out the breakdown of the unique cover here! "Back to the Shack" Track Info.
Such shows rose to popularity after Weezer's 1990s peak. Ric Ocasek produced this track. The Cars frontman previously worked with Weezer on the band's first record, The Blue Album and third, The Green Album. The lyrics are about the band returning to the classic Weezer aesthetic of 1994
Thanks to the ongoing Weezer Wednesday series, Weezer has been teasing out portions of its new album Everything Will Be Alright In The End, which will be landing on store shelves on September 30. But so far, only one song has been heard in its entirety, and that’s Back to the Shack. The band premiered the song on its own cruise a few months back, and thanks to some well-circulated fan-shot videos, the song has become the first full taste of the new album
