Watershed is the ninth full-length studio album by the Swedish progressive metal band Opeth. Released by Roadrunner Records, Watershed is the first studio album by Opeth to feature guitarist Fredrik Åkesson and drummer Martin Axenrot, who replaced longtime guitarist Peter Lindgren and drummer Martin Lopez. The artwork for the album was made by Travis Smith (who has created the artwork for eight previous Opeth releases) in collaboration with Mikael Åkerfeldt.

I was particularly looking forward to Opeth's new live album, The Roundhouse Tapes not only because I think Opeth are one of the finest bands working in the Prog Metal genre but also because I wanted to hear if new Drummer, Martin Axenrot was capable of replacing the excellent Martin Lopez. Well perhaps a live release isn't going to be the best comparison against Lopez' studio performances so I'll reserve full judgement for Opeth's next studio album but initial impressions are good.

In their live album, The Roundhouse Tapes, they combine songs from former albums such as Damnation, Blackwater Park, Still Life, Ghost Reveries, My Arms, Your Hearse, and Morning Rise.
