Apocalipstick is the second studio album by indie rock band Cherry Glazerr. The band worked on the album with producers Joe Chiccarelli and Carlos de la Garza, making their garage sound more polished. Frontwoman Clem Creevy joined up with keyboardist Sasami Ashworth and drummer Tabor Allen for the making of their major label debut.

I don't know if its just mine doing this but after a couple spins it got fuzzy sounding and just ruined the experience. I also have the black vinyl which surprisingly sounds better. After releasing their second album, Haxel Princess, in 2014 Cherry Glazerr underwent a revamp. Vocalist/guitarist Clementine Creevy restocked the band with new members, turned to a pair of veteran producers in Joe Chiccarelli and Carlos de la Garza, and gave their previous grunge-garage sound a slicker, more powerful upgrade. 2017's Apocalipstick has a powerful wallop earlier albums lacked, with the bass and drums punching through the mix, Creevy's guitar slashing and crashing, and her vocals showing some growth

Cherry Glazerr’s lineup soon solidified with the addition of bassist Sean Redman and drummer Hannah Uribe. Around this time, Cherry Glazerr caught the eye of Saint Laurent’s ex-creative director Hedi Slimane, who embraced Creevy as a model and muse, and enlisted the band to soundtrack his debut film and a Fall 2014 Ready-to-Wear show. By the time Cherry Glazerr released their debut LP, 2014’s Haxel Princess, Creevy’s reputation preceded them.
