Outland is the fourth studio album by Spear of Destiny, released by 10 Records in 1987 (see 1987 in music). It included the hit single "Never Take Me Alive" which reached n. 4 in the UK singles charts in 1987 - Spear of Destiny's only Top 20 hit in the UK. Three other singles were released from the album, namely "Strangers In Our Town", "Was That You?" and "The Traveller", all making the UK Top 50. All songs written by Kirk Brandon.

Theatre of Hate had their largest hit from the Westworld album with the single "Do You Believe in the Westworld?", which achieved in the UK Singles Chart in January 1982, while the album rose to in the UK Albums Chart in March 1982. Theatre of Hate disbanded in 1983. Brandon and Stammers were then joined by Lascelles James on saxophone and Chris Bell on drums to form Spear of Destiny. Brandon continues to tour with both Spear of Destiny and Theatre of Hate, as well as a revamped Dead Men Walking, and acoustic shows including with cellist Sam Sansbury. Brandon was portrayed by the actor Richard Madden in the 2010 television film Worried About the Boy, a dramatisation of Boy George's rise to fame in the early 1980s. Roberts, David (2006).

Then the second set will be culled from all the EPIC years albums, ‘GRAPES OF WRATH’, ‘ONE EYED JACKS’ and ‘WORLD SERVICE’. A lot of music from some great albums. It’s obviously the launch of the new album, but the second set is a list of classic Spear songs which everyone wishes to see us play again.
